Looking for a wonderful Nanny to join our family.

I have recently moved from Australia to Lille with my two children – Neve 4 and Harvey 8. We are living in Bondues and the children attend Ecole Jeannine Manuel.

We had some amazing Nannies in Australia and I am looking for someone that can become an integral part of our house hold, sharing the load with me when I work and travel for work on short trips.

The role would involve some early morning starts – from 6.30 am and later finishes – up to 8.30 pm. I would also like to find someone willing to sleep over in the future when I travel overnight to the UK or Belgium.

Some things to share:

- I want to ensure the kids have a consistent routine and are well cared for.
- They both love playing sport, doing creative activities and playing games. An active person - happy to kick a football, walk or cycle would fit in very well.
- Together we will run the house so cooking and some light cleaning (e.g. laundry) will be part of the role.
- You will need a driver’s license and preferably your own car for school drop off/pick up and after school activities.
- French speaking with ability to communicate in basic English. The children are learning French so I’m keen for the nanny to help them along whilst also being able to communicate in English when required.

The hours are somewhat flexible and their activity schedule will change over time. A typical work week might look like this: Monday 3.00 – 7.00 pm (4 hrs), Tuesday 6.30 – 9.30 am (3 hours) and 3.00 – 8.00 pm (5 hours); Wednesday 11.30 am – 4.30 pm (5 hours); Thursday 6.30 – 9.30 am (3 hours) = approximately 20 hours per week

Pay: 14 Euros per hour, plus some money for petrol once per month.
Any overnight stays would be a flat rate to be discussed with the successful person.
